What is IRP?

IRP is a culturally based program designed to support people working to recover from alcohol or drug problems

What Will I Do?

  1. Meeting with study staff

  2. 6 weeks of group sessions

  3. 3-4 check-in meetings with staff

What is Provided?

  • Dinner before each group session

  • Grocery cards for each group session attended

  • Food/household pantry items after each group session

  • Transportation and on-site childcare if needed

You Can Participate If You…

  • Are struggling with alcohol or drugs and want to make a change

  • Are working to maintain changes they made in treatment and want additional support

  • Want to recover from addiction but don’t know where to go or what type of help is best

  • Are looking for a cultural approach to recovery

  • Want help learning new ways to cope with life’s stressors without alcohol or drugs

  • Want to strengthen their connection to Native culture and the Fort Peck community

  • Want to learn more about Native traditions, spirituality, and ways of healing

  • Need help figuring out how to spend their time after quitting alcohol or drugs

  • Need a way to make new sober friends and connect with a healthy social network

  • Are ready to make a change and just need some support
