IRP is a culturally based program designed to support people working to recover from alcohol or drug problems
What Will I Do?
Meeting with study staff
6 weeks of group sessions
3-4 check-in meetings with staff
What is Provided?
Dinner before each group session
Grocery cards for each group session attended
Food/household pantry items after each group session
Transportation and on-site childcare if needed

Are working to maintain changes they made in treatment and want additional support
Want to recover from addiction but don’t know where to go or what type of help is best
Are looking for a cultural approach to recovery
Want help learning new ways to cope with life’s stressors without alcohol or drugs
Want to strengthen their connection to Native culture and the Fort Peck community
Want to learn more about Native traditions, spirituality, and ways of healing
Need help figuring out how to spend their time after quitting alcohol or drugs
Need a way to make new sober friends and connect with a healthy social network
Are ready to make a change and just need some support
